“The port authority informs professionals dealing with the port of Rades that reefers have to be taken by cargo receivers directly as soon as they are unloaded from the ships. As of December 1st, 2019, lorries will have to attend alongside the vessel at the moment of the discharge. Otherwise, the containers will remain on board and not authorized to be discharged.”
This new regulation shall imply some changes as regard to the preventive measures to be taken against potential cargo losses allegations/claims, and against the risk for not being allowed to discharge the containers.
